[Athletics] NAIA Scholar-Athletes Announced for Fall Season
With the NAIA fall championship sports season coming to a close this week, the Daktronics/NAIA Scholar-Athletes have been announced for all fall sports. Doane student-athletes were recognized in men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball this year.
Student-athletes are nominated and selected based on two main requirements, that the student-athlete holds a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better and they must be of junior or senior academic status. Student-athletes must also be enrolled at their institution one full year before becoming eligible.
This fall, 20 of Doane's student-athletes were recognized as NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Men's Soccer and Football accounted for seven apiece. Below are this year's recipients.
