[Volleyball] Rodden, Witzmann Named Assistant Coaches for Women's Volleyball

SANTEE, Calif. – SDC athletics and the women's volleyball team would like to announce the hiring of Jenni Rodden as the assistant coach for the women's volleyball team and Molly Witzmann as a volunteer assistant for the 2018-19 season.

Rodden played four years for Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida. At Warner, Rodden was a 4-year starter and was named to the Sun Conference All-Conference Team twice. She also earned Academic All-Conference all four years and after her senior year was name the Sun Conference Champions of Character Player of the Year.

Most recently, Rodden was a volunteer assistant at Point Loma with the women's volleyball team from 2015-17.

Witzmann graduated from SDC in 2016. After her senior year, she was named to the All-GSAC team, which hadn't been accomplished since 2003. Witzmann played two seasons at SDC and totaled 405 kills and 178 total blocks.

The Hawks will play their first game on the road this season in Rocklin, Calif. In the William Jessup Invitational on Aug. 22.
