After coming of our hard-earned match against Morningside we were all rewarded with being able to sleep in the next morning. Being myself, I woke up at 8 a.m. I decided to work on some homework while sipping on some coffee. Once everyone woke up, we headed to the Hard Rock Café.
An hour after lunch we came back and watched film. Personally, I love this time because we are all crowded in one room, talking about our game plan. We had a lot of time to kill today because our match was the last one of the day so we decided to go watch the men's team scrimmage against Morningside. It was fun to get out of the hotel and decompress before the game.
Once game time hit, it was go time. We fought hard and won, placing us first in our pool. I was so excited to celebrate with my team and parents (They finally made it to the tournament)
After some much-needed family time, I was forced to sit in an ice bath with Courtney Twit back at our hotel for rehab. When we got done rehabbing, we ate some delicious pasta from Olive Garden. With stomachs full, we all headed back to our rooms to get rest for a big day ahead of us!
