Jannik Sinner's Ex-Girlfriend Is a Tennis Star
Earlier this week world No. 1 Jannik Sinner dispatched arguably the greatest male tennis player of all time in straight sets, but made sure to show respect to Novak Djokovic after the match that sent him into the final against Carlos Alcaraz.
“Novak showed how much of a role model he is," Sinner said. "What he's doing is incredible, I wish him the best for the rest of the season, and we are very lucky to see him playing such high-level tennis. He has achieved so many things, is the best player in the history of our sport. Playing against him here is amazing. Of course I try not to think about this, but before going on court, you feel the tension and what is coming against you."
Sinner is preparing for his match against Alcaraz on June 8, which brings his name into the headlines. While fans search his various social media accounts and look for details of his life, they'll learn he recently split with girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya.
“There’s a lot of attention,” Sinner said, via Tennis Up to Date in May. "Also, off the court, I was surprised to see some pictures, which, nothing serious. I’m not in a relationship!"
Kalinskaya is a top-30 player in the world, but suffered an unfortunate loss in the first round of the French Open this year. Her best finish in a major title came at the 2024 Australian Open when she made it to the quarterfinals.
A doubles player, she also made the quarterfinals at the 2023 Australian Open, but hasn't advanced past the fourth round in any other major, singles or doubles.
Just last month she defeated Jessica Pegula, daughter of Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula and one of the best American tennis players, to secure a spot in the quarterfinals of the Internationaux de Strasbourg.

Kalinskaya reached a ranking of No. 11 in the world in 2024, but has struggled during the 2025 season, falling down to No. 28 in the latest world rankings.
