[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Sweeps GPAC Opener

Doane Women's Tennis hosted Northwestern in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) opener for the Tigers on Saturday morning. The team cruised to a 7-0 victory as the match was completed in less than 90 minutes.

The Tigers opened by taking the doubles point with wins in all three doubles matches, dropping a combined one game. In singles action, Doane won 72 of the 79 games played as Ava Macke (JR/Omaha, Neb.) and Makayla Rice (SR/Lincoln, Neb.) each posted a victory of 6-0, 6-0.
