[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Sweeps Kansas Opponents

Doane Women's Tennis took on a pair of KCAC schools on Tuesday in North Newton, Kansas. In the opener, Doane defeated Kansas Wesleyan, 6-1, and then took on Bethel, dropping the Threshers with a 7-0 victory.

Against KWU, the Tigers won two of the three doubles matches to take the 1-0 lead entering singles play. Doane won five of the six singles matches to claim the victory. The Tigers had three matches decided in a tie-break.

To close out the trip, Doane made quick work of Bethel in winning each match. The Tigers swept the doubles matches to earn the team point and then won five of the six singles matches in straight sets.
