Svetlana Kuznetsova came out on top after struggling against Angienszka Radwanska in San Diego. Jelena Jankovic and Caroline Wozniacki are top seeded in Cincinnati but Kim Clijsters is the second favorite, after Serena Williams, to win the US Open. In Toronto at the Rogers Cup, the world top three are back to play singles and doubles as Roger Federer celebrated his 29th birthday and Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal play doubles. Djokovic is protecting his ranking against Federer.
