Meanwhile, Agnieszka Radwanska qualified for the WTA’s year-end championships after Marion Bartoli, her contender for the final spot, withdrew from the Kremlin Cup because of a viral illness. Finally, the US Open is considering permanently scheduling the men’s final on Monday to give the players a day off between the semifinals and finals.
