[Women's Tennis] Grand View Competes Against Flames and Tigers

Red Oak, IA - Grand View women's tennis team played in a doubleheader on Sunday, February 16, against the College of Saint Mary and Doane University.

The Vikings began the day by dropping the doubles point to the College of Saint Mary. The Vikings won their No. 1 and No. 5 singles matches, but it wasn't enough as they fell to a 5-2 loss to the Flames.

In their second contest of the day, Grand View was only able to secure one singles victory. Dina Kajtazovic (SR/Waterloo, IA) came back from behind to win the No. 1 Singles in a thrilling match, 6-4, 4-6, 17-15. The Vikings fell 6-1 to the Tigers.

Grand View will be back in action on Sunday, March 1 as they take on Coe College and Quincy University. Doubles competition is set to begin at 9:00 a.m.
