[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Falcons Picked Sixth in KCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

WICHITA, Kan. – The Friends University Falcons have been chosen sixth in the KCAC Preseason Women's Tennis Coaches' Poll, the league has released.

McPherson College, the second place finisher last year, has been picked to win the regular season championship this year.

After winning the conference title last year, Southwestern College was picked second, followed by Ottawa University, Sterling College and Kansas Wesleyan University within the top five.

Following Friends was Bethel College, Tabor College, Bethany College and Oklahoma Wesleyan University rounding out the poll.

Under head coach Sandra Nixon, the Falcons return nine letterwinners from last season's squad that went 10-8 to post its first winning season since at least 2004-05.

Highlighting the returners is junior Madeline Watson (JR/Goddard, Kan.), an All-KCAC second team selection last season.
