[Women's Tennis] Bears defeat Crusaders, 4-0

The women's tennis program at Shawnee State utilized strong all-around play as the Bears took 15 of their 27 contests en route to winning two of their three contests in doubles action, while adding in 57 wins in the 102 singles sets that were played en route to winning four of the six contests in that realm to collect a 4-0 victory, in new official scoring terms, over Capital on Friday evening at the Daehler Tennis Center on the campus of Shawnee State University in Portsmouth.

Throughout the day, the Bears proved to be stout, especially at the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles positions, where the No. 2 doubles unit of Regan Osborn and Jessica Willard, along with Molly Stockton and Katelyn Pauley at the No. 3 outfit, claimed respective victories of 6-2 and 6-4 over Capital's Emma Price and Addison Hasselbach at No. 2 doubles and the Crusaders' Karen Kanke and Aubrey Pletcher at No. 3 doubles, respectively.
