[Women's Tennis] Women's tennis releases fall schedule

The Montreat College women's tennis team has announced their schedule for the upcoming fall season.

Montreat's first weekend of play will take place at Shawnee State with back-to-back days of double-headers. On Friday, September 14th, the Cavaliers will take on Wittenberg College and Shawnee State only to come back the following day and take on Midway University and a repeat against Shawnee State.

Two weeks later, Montreat will travel to in-state foe, Mars Hill University, an NCAA Division II member, to take on the Lions on October 2nd for the first time. Finishing out the first week of October, the Cavaliers will host Pfeiffer University on October 6th, which is during Homecoming Weekend. The match with Pfeiffer will be the only home match for the Montreat Cavaliers.

To finish out the fall season, Montreat will travel to Brevard College to take on the Tornados in another in-state rivalry.

Last year, the Cavaliers finished 4-17 overall and 0-9 in AAC play. Montreat did not graduate anyone from last year's squad as the team looks to use the fall play to gain experience for the spring schedule.
