[Men's Tennis] Cumberland Men's tennis reaches quarterfinals with 5-2 victory

LEBANON, Tenn. – Sixth-ranked Cumberland won a pair of doubles matches and Axel Lucich, Francisco Fernandez Meaca and Ramon Puertolas each picked up singles victories, as the Phoenix held off 25th-ranked McPherson College, 5-2, on Thursday morning in the Round of 16 at the 2018 NAIA Men's Tennis Championships in Mobile, Ala.

The Bulldogs (15-4) led 4-1 and 2-0 in the third set in the other matches that did not finish before Puertolas finished off his match at No. 2 singles. The two teams were scheduled to play Wednesday afternoon but that was delayed by rain to Thursday morning.
