[Men's Tennis] Men's Tennis Defeats Johnson, 7-2

MONTREAT, N.C. – On Tuesday, Montreat's men tennis team bounced back from a loss last week to defeat the NCCAA's Johnson University Royals in convincing form at the Patricia Cornwell Tennis Center.

"This was a great match to work on specific things in preparation for our match against Milligan," said Montreat head coach Andrew Cobb. "The guys came out and executed our strategy in doubles and carried that momentum into singles."

One of match's many highlights included freshman Enrique Smalley winning his first singles match of the spring season as he defeated Johnson's Matt Nordstrom. Another included fellow freshman Hunter DiGeorge defeating Caleb Weaver at sixth singles in straight love sets.
