[Men's Tennis] Men's Tennis: Barbon and Blackburn Reach Doubles Semifinal at Grizzly Invitational

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.   Sophomore Federico Barbon (Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina) and junior Sam Blackburn (Enterprise, AL), who were seeded number four in the tournament, reached the doubles semifinals at the Georgia Gwinnett College Grizzly Invitational, Oct. 13-15, in Lawrenceville, Ga.  Barbon, the first player in Point's five-year men's tennis history to advance into the ITA Regional championship quarterfinals, and Blackburn are 4-2 in doubles this season.

"This was a great fall for the men's team," commented head coach Chad Simpson (fourth season).  "They are hungry to reach their highest potential.  I can't wait to get back on the court with them in January to tap into that potential."
