Union College pulls plug on fall athletics

Union College announced Monday that its fall sports teams will not participate in intercollegiate competition in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The announcement came 13 days after RPI, which like Union competes in the Liberty League, made the same determination.
Affected sports include football, field hockey, men's and women's crew, men's and women's cross country, women's golf, men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's tennis, and women's volleyball.
