The Department of Sports and Youth Services had proposed the construction of a government swimming pool with all facilities at Saradambal Nagar under the Khelo India scheme at a cost of ₹5 crore. With the project foreclosed, the cost has now been revised to ₹5.52 crore and the second instalment of ₹1.25 crore was released by the Centre in February this year
