February 6,2019 [A Year in SF Bay]
Coldstice is coming! Feb 9…beware the Coldstice of February.
The storm is being followed by some seriously chilly water, the not flag but an orange balloon buoy thingee thermometer was reading 51 this AM, chilly billy!
It was a nice swim to the the not flag today, water pretty flat, but noticeably cold. My forearms never did get calmed down, but were registering cold, cold, cold the whole way out and back. Makes me wonder what the Coldstice will bring this Feb 9!?
Got up early and did 4 miles around Lake Merced before getting in the drink at 7:45.
