Little waves this morning
Hello Friends,
Wind was light WSW at 0900, skies were partly cloudy and swell was 1.1 metres from the east by east-south-east at 13 seconds apart. That was translating into near flat conditions but with occasional waist plus, long and liney sets to keep it interesting. Water was a very summery 24 °C and looking better than it has recently. Tide was coming into a 1.58 high at 1135.
Weather Situation
A weak ridge of high pressure is expected to maintain light to moderate winds from the northeast to southeast today with periods of unsettled weather possible. Winds tend north to northeasterly across the southern coastal waters early next week, with fresher south to southeasterlies possible along the northern coastal waters associated with a low in the southern Coral Sea.
