Grey and bumpy start to Sunday
Hello Friends,
The onshores continue. As of 0900 the wind was 10-13 kts from the east and as of 0700, the junky 1.6 metre, 8 second wind swell was coming from the ESE. Looking completely missable, sadly.
The Bureau tells us that the wind will move around to the NE later and then it’ll continue that way for at least the next couple of days.
Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is extending a ridge over the NSW coast, while the remains of a coastal trough sits about the Mid North Coast. Easterly winds generated by these systems will maintain onshore easterly winds over the coastal waters across the weekend and into early next week. Mid to late week a cold front or trough is poised to move along the coast bringing unsettled weather.
