North corners only

0 5

Hello Friends,

If you’re super keen there are little knee to waist-high bumps making their way into some of the north corners this morning. Swell was coming from the south at 1.5 metres with a 14-second period. That long period means long waits between the sets.  The first tide of the daylight hours is the 1.77 m high at 1100, so you can expect conditions to be getting fat and full as the morning goes along. Plus, the BoM says the swell will be getting smaller than it already is. And then there’s the wind. At report time it was lignt NNW, but the forecast tells us to expect it to swing SE from around high tide – which pretty much ought to finish off the surf prospects for the rest of the day.

When does it get better?

Well, the next couple days are not looking hopeful at all. And the rest of the week is looking like more tiny, short-period wind swell with onshores and on-again, off-again showery stuff.

Another week on hold I guess.

Never mind, have a top old Saturday everyone!
