Saturday still tiny but not flat
Hello Friends,
Another glassy start to the day with tiny little waves to be had at focal points. I saw waist-high sets at Longy when I did the morning surf check, but that was pretty much it. Folks were in the water at the Dee Why end of the beach where it looked like the wait were long for the knee-high bombs.
Swell was back to 1 metre at 9 seconds from the SSE, and wind was WSW at 4-6 kts at 0800. First tide of the day was 1.63 metres at 0710.
Surf prospects for the coming week look pretty much in line with the Goat’s latest forecast – ie, a metre-ish with periods in the 7-8 second range.
So, maybe not flat, but almost. The summer doldrums are upon us.
Here’s hoping something spins up soon in one of our swell nurseries.
Have a top old Saturday!
