BSUPA SUP School and Instructor Conference and AGM 2026

The time of year for the BSUPA AGM and revalidation conference has come around again and this year the event will be held at North Haven Yacht Club in Poole Harbour exclusively for BSUPA members.

Revalidation

For those of you who wish to revalidate your BSUPA Instructor’s qualification you can do so here in time for the main 2026 summer season. This also presents the opportunity to meet the BSUPA team and meet and learn from other instructors in an encouraging setting.

Guest Speakers & Micro Paddle Sessions

We are again lucky this year to have a fantastic line up of guest speakers who will grease the wheels in the morning. The plan for the afternoon is to participate in ‘micro paddle sessions’ in Poole Harbour with the intention of either revalidating your existing BSUPA instructor certificate or to take part in a fun ‘Instructor Hacks’ paddle depending on whether or not revalidation is needed.

Event Options

1 – If you DO need to revalidate your current Level 1 or Level 2 BSUPA Instructor qualification as part of this event, please email info@bsupa.org.uk in advance of the conference and ask for the relevant examination paper to be emailed to you. Complete it in full and bring it with you to the conference, along with your SUP board, PBA, paddle, appropriate leash and kit. You will be given the opportunity to take part the relevant ‘Revalidation Paddle’ with a BSUPA Trainer. If your examination paper and your ‘Revalidation Paddle’ are acceptable, you will be issued with a new Instructor certificate with 3 year’s validity (in the days/weeks after the conference) as part of your conference fee. Please choose the Level 1 or Level 2 £65 ticket at checkout.

2 – If you DO NOT wish to/need to revalidate you can still work with others to share and learn in the ‘Instructor Hacks’ paddle. Please bring with you your SUP board, PBA, paddle, appropriate leash and kit. Please choose the Conference only £20 ticket at checkout.

3 – If you wish to come to the AGM ONLY, please choose the ‘AGM only, £0 free ticket’ option. We will notify of the exact time of the AGM once the day’s agenda has been finalised. If you have booked 1 or 2 above, the AGM is included in your ticket.

Things to Remember

Please remember to bring your current BSUPA membership number with you, you will need that to register in the morning.

On arrival, you will need to complete and sign a medical/risk form and provide details of your off-site emergency contact.

A sandwich lunch and tea, coffee and chocolate/crisps/fruit snacks etc. will be provided.  Please advise us in advance of any allergies or special dietary restrictions.

There is a large car park opposite the venue and all parking charges are the responsibility of attendees. Please do not bring your SUP board into the conference venue as paddling (conditions permitting) will be from the harbour wall next door.
