Good day to pass on a surf
Happy Christmas to all who celebrate it
Surf will not be getting in your way this morning. The wind’s been SSE since late last night and the Bureau tells us we’re facing southerly conditions through Saturday. The MHL data from 0600 showed 1.7 metres of 7-second straight south wind swell. Power levels are due to increase into the 10-11 second range as a fresh south pulse starts to fill in later. The Bureau’s warning of large and powerful surf conditions through Friday, so the protected corners should see something. Those locations are going to be the only option for a reasonable wave through to Monday according to the models.
Have a top old day!
Weather Situation
A trough is bringing a southerly change along the northern coast today. Winds will ease and remain southerly into the weekend as a high pressure system over the Bight gradually moves east, extending a ridge along the NSW coast until early next week.
