Still on hold
Hello Friends,
You can give it a pass this morning. The wind was coming from the SE at 15-20 kt as of 0700 and the MHL buoy was detecting 1.9 metres of 6-second period SSW swell. So, the energy, such as it is, is heading away from us. Throw in the grey, rain-threatening skies, and it’s looking like a great day for your non-surf life activities.
It’ll be rainy again tomorrow, but the swell’s due to swing east, so maybe by Saturday morning as the skies clear, we’ll have something to play in. We shall see…
Go well with your Thursday one and all!
Weather Situation
Southerly winds persisting about the southern half of the coast as a trough stalls off the Hunter and Sydney coast. Winds will tend east to northeasterly from today as a high pressure system gradually drifts into the Tasman Sea, with winds turning northerly over the weekend. The next southerly change is expected during Sunday and Monday.
