Ho-ho-hum
Hello Friends,
Another day of small but surfable knee to waist-high waves at Dee Why beach. The point was not happening. Swell was 1.8 metres at 7 seconds and coming from the south, wind was also coming from the south at 9-14 kts under partly cloudy skies. Water is 21C and clean, so there is that.
We’ll see what the Goat thinks tomorrow, but my cursory examination of the models this morning has me slightly hopeful for a slight improvement to the wind/swell mix as we head into the weekend.
Go well folks!
Weather Situation
A trough moves up southern and central parts of the coast today, bringing a fresh southerly change with it, before anchoring about the Hunter or Sydney coast, and weakening later in the week. High pressure will build in the Tasman Sea later in the week, bringing east to northeasterly winds to coastal waters, turning northerly over the weekend.
