Grey, drizzly and small

0 25

Hello Friends,

Despite 11-17 kts of southerly wind and showery, grey skies, there were a few stalwarts in the water at Dee Why. The MHL update at 0700 was showing 2.2 metres at 7 seconds apart, coming from the SSW to the SE. The short periods meant wave faces were in the knee to waist high range, so you’d need to be pretty keen.

If you’re wondering about the surf prospects for the coming week, check out the Goat’s latest outlook from last night. He was in a whimsical and expansive mood about the coming week. It’s a nice little grace note for the end of the week.

Have a great Friday everyone.
