Another tiny day along the beaches

0 5

Hello Friends,

At 0800 wind was coming lightly from the WSW under sunny skies. Out at sea off Botany Bay the buoy was seeing 0.9 metres of 10-second energy from the SSE. As you can see from the pictures, Dee Why was flat. The swell models are pointing toward a chance of waves tomorrow as a little short-period NE wind swell pulse makes a brief appearance for the morning session. Winds are set to swing to the south at around the same time, so the window of reasonable quality may be very brief.

We’ll see what the Goat thinks tomorrow, but my quick take is that our surf prospects for the next week or so is that it’s likely to be small to unsurfable through the weekend. Some modelling shows small but surfable prospects next week. Here’s hoping.

Have a great Wednesday.
