The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 6 November 2025: Seven day outlook for Sydney

Oh Happy Day!  A week of digesting weather info almost completely untroubled by the frustrations of the BoM’s new website. The new website seems to have been designed to increase the Blood Pressure of customers who want to know more than basic info without navigating /”exploring” to find the same info that was there before but harder to find . The BoM isn’t the only source TG uses of course, but …

Having conferred with his country cousins – you know, the kinds of people and goats who actually need to understand weather details to make a quid – the solution was staring him in the face – he voted with his hooves and decided:

Just don’t use it.

In the interest of Public Health – Mental, Physical, and Goatly…

Use this instead >>>

reg.bom.gov.au

You’ll find all the info you need – presented in an easy to find and understand format.

You may even think it already looks familiar to you.

So having churned around and combined the various bits of info with other secret ingredients in his guts…

The Surf Outlook looks something like this >>>

Friday: around 1 metre or less from the North East

Saturday: similar

Sunday: similar at first then starting to come up a little and into the 1-2 metre range with the wind at places open to the South

Monday: starting to ease back in the 1-2 metre range dead South with onshores

Tuesday: around 1 ish metres at dead South spots

Wednesday: similar at first, then up again into the 1-2 metre range as the wind comes up from the South

Thursday: in the 1-2 metre rnage at dead South spots, with forecast offshore wind – might be alright eh…

Stay well … Mentally, Physically, and Goatly…

TG.
