Fading swell but clean this morning

0 5

Hello Friends,

Back in town for a couple of days, so of course, I must report!
Sunday morning saw blue skies, mild temps and a light WNW breeze rippling the fading south swell, As of 0630, it was 1.9 metres at 13 seconds from 166 degrees and the tide was coming off the low at 0640 and filling into the 1.66 m high tide at 1320. This was translating into chest plus sets at focal points, but it looked sort of fat and slow when I took the pics. Be that as it may, you’re highly likely to find something worth the effort to get in the 18 C water.

The mellow conditions look like they will gradually fade away to near flat by tomorrow and then – if the models are right, it’s going to stay meagre for the remainder of the week.

By then your correspondent will be getting an up close and personal look at life in California for a month or so. While I was pretty much offline for the last few weeks in the Outback, I’m expecting to pop up now and again with a postcard from the other side of the world over coming weeks.

Go well!
