Sunny start with waves too

0 29

Hello Friends,

Lots of pictures to tell the story of this morning. It’s waveland out there for experienced and confident riders. Heaps of spots to choose from for the early as 2.4 metres of 9-10 sec mainly NE energy lights up our beaches. The showery stuff is way out to sea and the wind should stay SW all day sayith the Bureau. But it’ll pick up to 20-25 kts this afternoon. There’s a 70% chance of a shower apparently.  Tide peaks at 1.43 metres as of 0820, then runs out to a low of 0.42m at 1400. Water is suss at the lagoon entrances.

And outlook is for waves all week!

I’m going for a look with my camera. Will let you know if I find anything!

Weather Situation

A trough lies off the NSW coast, bringing northwesterly to northeasterly winds to NSW waters. The trough is set to move east over the Tasman Sea while a ridge forms along the NSW coast in its wake, bringing fresh to strong southwesterly winds. This ridge will persist through early next week, before winds turn north to northwesterly ahead of a cold front set to cross coastal waters mid next week.
