The Goat’s Surf Forecast
Surf forecast issued Thursday 7 August 2025: Seven day outlook for Sydney
The swell looked messy tonight before dark with the wind behind it, and is going down in size and period from yesterday’s pretty but challenging, nice looking but – only-for-the-fit-and experienced – waves. Yesterday there were small numbers of black dots out…today none.
When I approached him for the forecast, TG , who is normally about as deep and clever as the birdbath in my backyard, said: Go Away!
At first I thought he didn’t want me to bother him right now… which was of course not acceptable. But then I had second thoughts
So I did.
And I will… (in my own good time)…
But not before I extracted the following intel from him>>>
Surf outlook
Friday: going down in the 1-2 metre range East – but check the winds and weather
Saturday: ditto South facing places, and /but ditto and same for below
Sunday: ditto South East
Monday: ditto East South East
Tuesday: around 1 ish metres give or take, going down East
Wednesday: similar
Thursday: ditto
Muffled noise… Sounds like..
Go Awaayy!>>>
