Sunday tiny waves for the keen
Hello Friends,
Yet another sparkling morning along the beaches and, unfortunately, another near-flat one as well. Waves at Dee Why looked to be in the ankle to knee high range and inconsistent too. At 0930 wind was out of the NW at 10-15 kts and the latest data from the MHL buoy shows swell at sea is a metre at 9.5 seconds from the NE.
The NSW nearshore prediction tool projects flatness for the next couple of days before things start to gradually improve into the shoulder plus range at south spots by around Thursday afternoon. Weather call is for a run of showery weather from Wednesday through next weekend.
Have a great Sunday!
Weather Situation
A cold front associated with a low near Tasmania has moved offshore the NSW coast. From Monday, a ridge of high pressure extends across the state’s central and north coast, then followed by another cold front or trough crossing the NSW coast Wednesday.
