Offshores flatness effect
Hello Friends,
Chilly as Thursday kicked off under sunny skies. The wind was out of the WSW at 9-16 kts and the ENE swell was 1.6 metres at 10 seconds. It’d likely be a bit bigger were it not for the offshores. There were sets into the waist-high range, but they weren’t too frequent.
Being a Thursday, I’m looking forward to what the Goat has to say about the coming surf week. The models have been bouncing around as usual, so it’ll be interesting to see what the who’s been watching surf for six decades thinks.
Go well with your plans!
Weather Situation
A high pressure system will move across the region today. Meanwhile, a cut-off low pressure system looks set to develop over the Bight and move towards Tasmania, whipping up a strong cold front that will cross the coastal waters during the weekend.
