Just a trickle
Hello Friends,
As you were surfers. Swell’s faded away to just about nothing at Dee Why this morning. Wind was out of the west at 8-10 kts and out at sea, the MHL buoy was detecting a metre of 11+ second straight south swell. That looked to be translating into occasional knee-high little runners along the beach. So, it’s not totally flat.
The Goat should be along later today with his thoughts on our prospects for the weekend and beyond. Check back later for the Mighty One’s wisdom and in the meantime, have yourself a top old Thursday everyone.
Weather Situation
A high pressure ridge extends across the central areas, maintaining westerly airstream. A trough looks set to brush the coast late today through to Friday, bringing a southerly wind change. The winds then tend south to southwesterly along the northern coast and west to southwesterly along the southern coast during the weekend as the trough lingers along the northern coast.
