Lazy Sunday with waves

0 4

Hello Friends,
Getting around to the report a bit later than usual, but the good news is that you should be able to surf all day if you’re relaxed about crowds and variable but light winds. As you can see from the shots, there are still a few shoulder high sets in the mix at Dee Why. Because the 1.2 metre, 9-second period swell is coming from the SE, your options should be plentiful.

The good news is that if your schedule permits, there should be waves in the fun range again tomorrow and maybe into the middle part of Tuesday, but the weather will be showery as the big low starts spinning up off the NSW coast. And we could be seeing its obvious surf consequences from around lunchtime Tuesday.

Wednesday-Thursday currently looks like being the period of peak of the SE swell intensity as we see heights ramping up into the 3-4 metre range (or even a bit bigger according to some models). Wind will be a stiff 20-30 kts out of the SW from Tuesday through Thursday on current reckoning.  By Friday, the swell could still be rolling in at 3+ metres under clearing skies and along with light SW wind…

Have a top old Sunday everyone!
