Flat as a tack
Hello Friends,
As expected, the flatness has well and truly arrived. We had blue skies and light NW wind, along with chilly air temperatures. But out at sea the swell was half a metre of wind bump at a period of 6 seconds from the ESE.
So no waves for us today.
This morning’s swell modelling is showing a slight uptick into, hopefully, the just-surfable range for a couple of days maybe. But the long term outlook is for the very small to near flat conditions to last into next week at the least.
Have yourself a top old Tuesday everyone.

Sun 22 June – Surfrider 3rd Annual Surf Swap & Repair Market
Venue: Surfrider Gardens, 50 Oceans St, Narrabeen
Time: 11 – 3pm
Weather Situation
A cold front and its associated trough will cross the southern and central coastal waters today, bringing fresh to strong west to southwesterly wind change across the southern coastal waters in its wake. Winds will ease and generally become light mid to late this week as a strong high pressure system slowly drifts across the state. A series of cold fronts will then cross the coastal waters early next week.
