Glassy fun ones on offer at beach near you
Hello Friends,
Perfect, approachable conditions this morning thanks to a metre of 11-second SE swell, light NNW wind and sunny skies along the beaches. Set wave faces were into the shoulder high range on the bigger sets at the most optimally-aligned exposures. It was lully yesterday and it looked lully again this morning, so expect to do a bit of waiting around between the catchable ones.
Outlook is for smaller again tomorrow and pretty marginal on Monday, but then from Tuesday onward it looks very interesting. A fresh south pulse should arrive with 2-ish metre heights on Tuesday and then it gradually builds toward the 3 metre mark on Wednesday while also getting a little more toward the SSE. Thursday could see it hold above the 2 metre mark before easing back to 1-1.5 m on Friday-Saturday. Wind is set to stay out of the westerly quarters too.
