Johannes: “Windsurf World Cup 2024 in Pozo Izquierdo, Gran Canaria. All drone footage is shot during the Men’s Wave competition. With conditions that were tricky and not as wild as in the prior year, the pros still managed to put on a spectacular show! Philip Köster’s triple loop attempt being one of them and underdog Julian Salmon eliminating several big dogs! Witness frustration and compelling rides by Pozo locals and Marino Gil Gerardi, Liam Dunkerbeck and legends such as Victor Fernandez and Ricardo Campello. Sadly, Pozo local Alessio Stillrich’s spectacular performances were violently halted after he over-rotated a double forward loop, which left him with a serious ankle injury!”
