Stormy morning
Hello Friends,
No reasonable surf this morning thanks to the 25-35 kts of SSE wind. Swell out at sea was 3.8 metres of 9-second energy from the SSE.
The wind’s not going to weaken tomorrow and the swell’s expected to build a bit more as well. The Bureau tells us that Wednesday will see a decrease in the SE wind and, potentially, an afternoon swing to the SSW – which might open up a few surf prospects. Beyond that, Thursday morning for the early could possibly see light S-SSW wind and a couple of metres of east-ish swell energy. But, it’ll still be showery, so there is that.
Go well with your day!

Weather Situation
A trough over the northern Hunter coast is moving north, bringing fresh to strong south to southwesterly winds to the coastal waters. Winds will turn southeasterly and strengthen as the trough continues to deepen about the Mid North Coast during the day, bringing fresh to strong and gusty winds, to central and northern parts of the coast. The trough may continue to deepen later in the week, with the strongest winds dependent on its location.
