On again this morning
Hello Friends,
Partly cloudy skies and light W-WNW breezes greeted early risers along the Northern Beaches. Out at sea the mainly easterly swell was 1.7 metres at 10+ seconds apart. That’s up from yesterday and as you can see from the pics, set wave faces were into the head high range on the bigger sets. So yeah, if you can, you should definitely make an effort to get in the water. Tide shouldn’t be a major factor. It was high at 0835 and then it drops less than a metre back to the low at 1410. Oh, and the wind should remain light and variable all day.
The light winds are set to stick around through tomorrow while the swell drops back a little. And Thursday’s not looking bad either.
Go well!

Weather Situation
A high-pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge across the state and directs onshore airstreams while a series of troughs brush the coast through the week. Then, fresh and gusty southerly winds look set to develop during the weekend as a strong cold front brushes the coast.
