Full but fun this morning
Hello Friends,
The wind was lightly offshore all night and while it’s dropped about 0.5 m since yesterday afternoon, the predominantly east swell was still around 1.5 metres at 9-10 seconds. This meant waves into the chest-high range (or even a bit bigger) at the most optimally aligned exposures. The tide was coming off the 1.48 high at 0640 when I grabbed the snaps, so some places did look a bit fat. With luck the wind will stay light and as the tide drops more spots should come into play.
Get out there if you can!
Weather Situation
A high pressure system over Victoria is extending a ridge over NSW, bringing light and variable winds to the the south coast and fresh southeasterly winds elsewhere. Then winds are forecast to tend northerly along the south coast by Sunday and easterly elsewhere as the high moves east. Winds will tend southwesterly first and then southeasterly by Tuesday as the high moves further east and a weak southerly change brushes the coast.
