Shoulder to head high plus this morning
Hello Friends,
In a rush this morning, so no pics from me unless I get a chance to update this afternoon. Dee Why was looking smooth with a steady supply of shoulder to head high and a bit sets. Not a morning for beginners, but experienced riders should be in for some fun.
As of 0630 the wind was west at 5-11 kts and the swell at sea 2.4 metres at 10-seconds apart from the SE. Tide was coming off the low at 0615 and will be back to the modest 1.3 metre high at 1215. Expect the wind to get around to the south by midday.
Weather should be showery and a cool 21 along the beaches.

Weather Situation
A trough is currently moving north along the north coast, driving a fresh south to southeasterly change. As the trough weakens and moves further north today, a slow moving high pressure system will enter the Tasman Sea, turning the winds easterly to northerly on Saturday. The next cold front and trough is poised to cross the coastal waters next week.
