Dee Why continues marginal on Monday morning
Hello Friends,
Another day of barely catchable dribble for Dee Why surfers. The wind’s been blowing NNE all nightand as of 0730 was 8-13 kts. Swell was coming from the east at 1.5 metres but with a choppy 7- second period. I’m calling it knee to waist – at best.
From the shape of this morning’s swell models, this low-energy marginal stuff is set to continue through next weekend and possibly beyond for the entire east coast.
Water’s 23, so I’ll still be jumping in for paddles and swims to maintain some level of fitness for the inevitable return of the waves.
Have a great Monday!
