Hello Friends,

Back into Sydney at mid-afternoon on Saturday. So, no rain – for the moment – but lots of southerly wind knocking the raw 3 metre, 10 second south swell around. There was one hopeful in the water at Freshie when I checked around 3pm and a fair few across the water at the Bower. But quality was not great. Went by DY thereafter and didn’t stop for a pic of the junky shoulder-ish looking conditions. A real case of needing to be keen to talk yourself into paddling out. Good on those who committed, although I have to say the 23C water was looking not the best. Beachwatch is warning that pollution is possible after the rain. I’d let the sunlight work on it for a few days…

Not super hopeful about tomorrow, but Monday morning’s looking like being in with a chance, and maybe the same again Tuesday…
