The Goat’s Surf Forecast
Surf forecast issued Thursday 17 October 2024: Seven day outlook for Sydney
A quick report is a good report~~ Been waves, around Been whales around.
But after an abosute corker of a day today (Thurs), the Bureau says we can expect Rain tomorrow! Looks like a LOw currently over South Oz is gunna slide into Bass Strait and slip out into the Tasman, giving us the odd shower and a bit of windiness after that. At least the air temps are warming up to be more pleasant.
The Surf Outlook is benign, then messy, then maybe ok.
Friday: around 1 – 1+metres North East
Saturday: similar or less at first, then as the Southerly change comes through it’ll get wind blown and messy and start to come up, but not be much use surfingwise.
Sunday: around 2-2+ metres dead South, but don’t expect much to be getting into sheltered corners – probably the only places with flags up for swimmers
Monday: messy, windy and 2-3 metres at dead South spots
Tuesday: easing back to 2-2 + metres South East
Wednesday: down more into the 1-2 metre range East
Thursday: ditto
Stay happy. Stay safe. Have fun!
