Yeah, nah

Hello Friends,

A very undistinguished morning surfwise. The wind’s still blowing from the SSE. At 0800 it was 20-31 kts which, and 3.2 metre swell was coming from the SSW around to the ESE at 9 seconds apart, but as you can see from the pictures, it’s raw but not particularly big along the Collaroy-Narrabeen stretch. Unsurprisingly, given the rain, Beachwatch is flagging that pollution is possible at many beaches. Water’s ticked up to 19 C.

The Goat should be along soon with his wisdom about the coming week, but in the meantime, my quick take is that tomorrow won’t be much of an improvement over today, but maybe there could be little fun ones on Sunday morning before the wind picks up…

Have a great Friday everyone!

Weather Situation

Strong and gusty southerly winds are present in the wake of a cold front in northern waters. The front may deepen into a low along the northern NSW during today and linger into the weekend, which may see strong and gusty east to southeasterly winds persisting about the north coast. A high moving over the Tasman Sea on Saturday will see winds shift northerly along central and southern parts of the coast.
