Another flat morning for us

0 3

Hello Friends,

Dee Why’s not surfable on Monday morning, so hopes are pinned on the predicted south pulse due to arrive from this evening. We’re in for a sunny but windy day with SW wind in the 25-35 kt range. Tomorrow the wind call is for SW during the morning and 2-3 metres of south swell. This morning there was 0.9 metres of 12-sec period easterly bump out at sea and 11-17 kts of NW wind keeping it away from the coast.

Assuming the Bureau and the swell models are right, Wednesday morning should see light wind and solid 2+ metre south swell… so that’s good!

Go well with your day and see you again tomorrow.

Weather Situation

A strong cold front will cross the state during today, bringing very windy conditions to the southeast, and a cool southwest wind change in its wake. Winds are expected to ease on Tuesday as a large high pressure system moves across the state, before increase again during Thursday into Friday ahead of a new cold front.
