Swell filling in

0 4

Hello Friends,

As expected, the swell has come up overnight and this morning saw overhead sets at the magnets. It has a kind of raw look, but there were definitely a few makeable ones at the point. As of 1020 this morning, the swell was 2.8 metres at 11 seconds from the SE, but the Bureau says we can expect it to push into the 4-5 metres by this afternoon, then it’ll stay there through tomorrow and likely still be pretty solid on Tuesday. Wind should be out of the W-SW for the next three days too.

Beginners, you need to sit this out. Everybody else, know your limits and look before you leap!

Weather Situation

A deep low pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is bringing persistent fresh to strong southerly winds to NSW coastal waters. This setup is expected to remain for several days. The low pressure system is forecast to move east mid-week next week.
