Another sunny morning with the odd little wave
Hello Friends,
Out at sea the swell was 1.75m at 11 seconds from 171°, so it’s close to dead south and therefore only about knee to maybe waist high at Dee Why. Wind was westerly at 0900, and should stay offshore until around midday when the NE’f will start doing its thing. Tide hit high at 0920 and will be back to low at 1535. We should see a high of 26 as it stays sunny all day and the water’s on 18.
There’s a gale warning for a SW’ly of 20-30 kts tomorrow and then on Tuesday the Bureau says it’ll go south 20-30 kts and the swell will pulse up briefly into the 3+ metre range. The models show the swell fading back pretty rapidly and the wind speed dropping but remaining out of the SE. So not hopeless, but not looking very exciting either.
Go well!
